I have some old family VCR tapes which I want to upload to my PC, edit and then make DVDs. I don't want to go to a mega expense in terms of H/W, S/W. Does anyone know of a cheap solution or whether any firms are around which provide this service at a resonable cost? Thanks and a Happy New Year to you all.

I just bought a Canon SD600, but haven't got any SD card for it yet....

Wondering if anybody use Transcend SD card before, is this brand good ?
Should i get a normal normal one or Hi-speed for my canon SD600 camera ?

Long story short, corporate America radio sucks, especially here in NYC, and I need variety. My only alternative is satellite.

I need to know which is best XM or Sirius?

I don't care about sports, talk, news, ANYTHING... ONLY music... and variety. My main love is dance and house music, but I love hip hop, reggaeton, etc... PARTY MUSIC...

In addition to that, what are monthly fees, installment fees, and so on... I want the lowdown and what I need to know, and any info. would be fantastic...

Are there any detrimental effects to either video game console when you stack one on top of the other?

Specifically, a Playstation 2 will be underneath a Generation NEX, and both are next to a Sony VCR on the television cart. No two devices will be used at the same time other that the TV.

I have a 4GB compact flash card for my camera and I was wondering what the ##x speed really meant... I've seen cards that say "High speed (80x) compact flash card!" and others that say "High speed (12x) compact flash card!" And I was just curious if 12 is actually considered high speed... it doesn't seem like it, which makes me sad because that's what my card is haha. It came with the camera though, and 4gb is a good amount so I guess I can't complain too much!

It does seem to take some time with pictures at the quality I've been taking them at, which is unfortunate. Is that higher ##x really going to make a huge enough difference to drop $100 or more on another memory card? (in the future, I'm broke now...) Though I suppose to help me buy one I could sell what I have now...

I accidentally washed my new ipod shuffle. It plays music, but when I put it on the USB dock it says "USB device not recognized"

What do I do?!?!?! I've got it drying on my heater right now, is there anything else to do for it? Otherwise, it's only 2 weeks old, is it worth messing with the warranty service? Would I have to pay a butt-load of money?

In particular the W series? Im thinking of buying the Sony Bravia KLD -40W2000. I read amazing reviews on it but after having gone to see it in a shop, some of the assistants told me it was overrated, and overly-priced. I looked pretty good though. If you have considered this tv yourself or even have one please let me know what you think. I need a final push before making this investment.

Mine is a Samsung LCD TV (LA27S71B) and panasonic DVD player, I can't find AV2 so i tried to connect it to component but the images is black and white. Why is it so? Can anyone help me? I live in the midwest and all the Wiis were gone as soon as they came out in November (Target, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop). Now all those stores always say they don't know when they'll be getting them and when they do get them they're gone in minutes...still...after Christmas.

I'm wondering when the "rush" will be over. I figured after Christmas it would die down. But when do you think the stores will be able to stock back up and not run out right away?

(And I don't want to spend $350-500 on Ebay either)
