yes you can i know with o2 if you called them up, there is an automated services where you enter the mobile number you want to top up and then you just pay for it by debit or credit card. Check operator websites for details.

i have done this, when my husband has been on holiday in one country and i've been on holiday in another (it so works!). His phone is on vodaphone and i was able to top up his credit using my debit card from my mobile phone.

You should be able to do with the top card. You can pay at a majority of shops, supermarkets and petrol stations.

yes, either by credit card, go and buy him a voucher and sent him the code, it costs nothing for him to receive that. or you can call your service provider to have it topped up. ever thought he doesn't want to contacted, and this is his way of discreetly telling you i need a break.
