well it's quiet simple. there r 2 steps:
1. frst put ur old sim card in the mobile & divert all the calls on ur new number. do this practise for atleast 2 months. in this way u'll give ur new numbers 2 everybody & after sometime cancel divert.

2. put ur old sim card in the mobile & add ur own voice in the voice mail like (hi i m ........ pls note down my new number & in future pls call me on that number thank you) activate ur old card for 2-3 months depending on ur usage. after thatdeactivate it.

3.put ur old card & select important numbers 2 whom u want 2 send ur new number. MARK them & send a msg. in this way u'll give ur new number at one go.

Listen, changing your cell phone number won't help.
