Seriously how cool are digital cameras?.... More pictures will be taken of my kids then were taken of me by a landslide! Amazing huh?

I agree with you in that regard. And, speaking of kids, we used to limit our kids to two rolls of film per school trip. Otherwise we'd have over 100 pictures of friends hiding from the camera on the bus instead of only 48. With digital, that wouldn't matter either. Just set your typical 5-6 MP camera to save the medium size file and they could shoot hundreds of pictures - for free - if they had enough batteries. (haha)

The funny thing about that is many people STILL don't delete the bad ones! They just keep them all, and often print them all.
I am a photo lab manager, and have seen my roll volume drop from 70 or 80 rolls a day this time of year to about 30. However, last month we did about 20,000 digital prints, and average at least 10,000.
I'm hoping that 35mm film will hang on for a few more years, at least. I'd like to be able to wear out my F100! hahahaa

Yeah, digital is great, but I still love the excitement and anticipation of waiting for a film. There's nothing better than being surprised by some great shot you've taken.

still alot of people dont even print the photos.. Istill feel better with my canon f1n and i tend to be able to control it and make it do what i want better than all the digital but do like digital
