there should be a cord that came with the ipod. Plug it into your computer and open itunes. it will "sync" the ipod with your itunes and you can upload them.

The easiest thing to do is to find the physical files (usually people store them in 'my documents') and literally drag them into itunes (drop them anywhere in the 'my library' section. Next, attach up your ipod. If you have the settings set to 'update all songs', they shoudl automatically start updating, otherwise now drag your new songs onto the 'ipod' icon that appears on the left-hand side of itunes (where all your playlists are stored)
