What is best. I don't take a lot of pictures. What is main difference between the Camcorder or Digital camera that has a short playback mode.

I would like to know more about how peripherals are connected to the television. For example AV1 AV2 whdoes it mean? What are the rules for say attaching a video, DVD player? You catch my drift?

between the nikon D100, D 80 or D 50 and canon rebel. or should i just stick with a high end point and shoot camera? i'm torn! i want good quality photos of my boys as they grow (ages 2 and 3) - i want to take photos quickly without the flash going off 3 times first, and the kids have already looked away. i have a sony 3.2 megapixel digital and i need to upgrade. help!
