Teletext with coloured buttons. Not quite as fast as the name suggests.

With teletext, you load one page as each page comes around.
example: if you are on page 119, and you select page 120, you have to wait until the pages cycle around pages 116...117..118..119, and then it loads
with fastext, some *Linked* pages are loaded in one go, as they become available, and are stored. chances are, by the time it takes you to read page 119, page 120 (for example, linked by the blue button) will already have been stored, and is therefore available as soon as it is selected
