id say PSP because you can watch movies view pictures and listen to music... and if you like hacking you can hack and run ISO imagen on your psp and you can emulate nintendo games and alot of other fun still and the PSP have nice graphics and good games and you can surf the web..
but the DS lite also has internet it has no music or movies or photos and it have two screen the touch screen kinda gets annoying after awhile and the graphics do not compare to the PSP and the screens are about the size of a gameboy but if you really like Nintendo games then you might want the DS
you can always go old school and get a gameboy if you like the mario and wario and zelda and others like that... and there very very cheap... they only play games but they are very portable and have alot of fun games!
so overall your best bet is to get the PSP,
id rate them
PSP - 9/10
DS lite - 7/10
and gameboy - 5/10
hope that helps at all!

The PSP. It is the king of racing games. As far as mind games go games like lumines and loco roco will ocupy your time with that. Not to mention the homebrew/emulation community has come a long way with the PSP and will satisfy your needs when it comes to playing mario. So go with the PSP the DS is over rated as far as I am concerned. The PSP has alot of in depth games along with some to just pick up and play. Most of the DS games are just plane unimaginative and don't take too much thought to get through. PSP

The 3DS and 3DS XL obviously differ in size but for me, it's not worth buying the XL unless I found a really good sale. If you're a moderate gamer, the 3DS is perfectly fine for you because it comes with all the features the XL has, just not a big screen. The XL is can be bought for those with poor eyesight, but it is not a legitement reason to buy the XL. If you have sight issues due to gaming, you should consult your doctor/optometrist for glasses to help increase your gaming experience. In my opinion, the XL is really hard carry around due to it's massive size. It'll be a hassle if you don't find a good case to keep it in. The extra money differentiation between the XL and the regular 3DS come from the screen size difference. If large screens appeal to you, go for the 3DS XL, but don't waste your money on the XL when you can be perfectly happy with a 3DS. (I have a DSi XL and there's no difference between than and the DSi.) Another factor you want to consider is the fact if you're replacing a previous DS model. If you have a really old one (for example the very first DS), the I think it's not a waste go for the 3DS XL (after considering all this). If you had a recent purchase with a 3DS, DSi, or DS Lite, try for the 3DS. No need to pay an extra 70 bucks on what you could have in a 3DS. Good luck! :)

If you like mario games and mind games then i suggest the DS. The PSP doesnt have too many games for your mind but you can buy tetris. The DS has a lot more puzzle games and if you like mariokart then it also has racing games. But i personally like the PSP a lot more.

Get the PSP if your a gamer. Get the DS if you only dabble in videogames once in a while. But if it were up to me I'd get a PSP hands down. The thing can access WI-FI internet. So ANYWHERE that has free internet via WI-FI (airports, libraries, coffee shops, highschools, colleges, etc....) you will be able to access the internet. The PSP has an auto search and auto connect feature so it requires little to no brain power. The PSP is an excellent investment.

The DS mops up the competition worldwide, in terms of it's sales. It's the clear winner.....

And you won't find Mario games on the PSP, since Mario is a Nintendo trademark.
