My friend and I both got those new Zune MP3s by Microsoft and we each keep coming to the stupid installation error screen. Got 'em from different places and he has a a Mac (whereas I have a PC).

Is anyone else frustrated with his Zune?

as the sales guy told me when I asked him if I should upgrade my xmas gift home theater in a box w/o HDMI to a system with it. My HDTV has a DVI input and from what I've read I thought HDMI was an upgrade, not just a new cable connection. What gives? Do DVD players with HDMI ouputs have better definition than progressive scan or not?

I keep hearing that Apple store and/or iPods will be on sale so wait to buy them. I am pretty intent on just buying a refurbished iPod from Apple store but would obviously wait if they are having a sale soon or if there are any other sales going on soon. I know after Christmas is sale season and most people do a lot of shopping, but do any of you know of any specific sale on Apple Store, any specific sale involving already cheap refurbished iPods, or any other brick-and-mortar store sales on iPods?

I see all these people buying them up everywhere and they are sold out everywhere in actual stores and then you go online and people are selling for like 200 bucks? WTH?! Um not paying that. They are 130 bucks in stores. Why on earth would anyone be stupid enough to go with a rip off price of 70 bucks more? Are people on crack?!

I just downloaded the latest version of iTunes and after I restarted my computer all of my purchased music was gone(which was over $200 worth of music and videos. I have the proof, because I just viewed my account and all my purchase history showed up. I just e-mailed them because that's the only way you can contact them. Has anyone else had the same problem, and how long does it usually take for them to get back with you?

I read that the microphones that are built in do not work well, but my camcorder, a DCR-HC36, doesnt have a external microphone jack. I would like to know if it is possible to clip the lines to the current built in microphone and install a external microphone jack to the original microphone lines.
