I'm a singer and I want to make some CD's of me singing to music. I need to know what I need to get to record the backround music, and then my voice on top of that. And then I need too know how to copy it on a CD. Also if you know how much it would cost,(ball park figure) that would be great!

If you are running Windows there should be a video program and a recording program on your computer. Check it out. I don't know if you can do overlays with the recorder, but I do know you can usually burn CD's.

Do a quick check on your computer before you go out looking for software. Once you know what you have already, then check on line to see what type of microphone and mixing software to get. Should be able to find some free programs or 30 day trial packages to download. Good luck hope these ideas help.
