If you really want to get the system that's right for you, you'll need to do your homework. Go to Best Buy and test out the 360, and see how you like it. You can't play with the Wii, but at least you get a video demo showing what it can do.
Most of the 360 problems have been fixed. The only Nintendo problem is the Wii strap breaking, but if you get it after November, the straps are fixed. If you got it in November, you can contact Nintendo and ask for a replacement. Nintendo has a very good history of releasing problem-free consoles on launch. The Wii should be mostly error free because it's similar to the GC.

I believe the Wii is better. It's an entirely new way to play games. You get more involved in the games witch make them more fun. Your hands don't have to be cling-ed together as if your in hand cuffs. The 360 is the same old button mashing. The only deference between the 360 and the old x-box is better graphics and a bigger hard drive.

look at the cost of each console and the number of games out for the console also. and also the chance of actually getting a Wii at retail price. I have a 360 from the mt. dew promotion before the launch and haven't had any overheating problems. But i have seen problems with the Wii with loading the disk and the strap on the controller.
I would go with the 360

Both, 360 for now though. I have a 360 and I love it. The graphics are awesome, xbox live can be really fun, and they have a nice variety of games. I'm waiting a few months for a Wii. I personally think it a bit silly to buy a console as soon as it comes out, let them work out the bugs first.

Wii is amazing! If you can get your hands on one, it's definitely worth it. It is so innovative and is a lot of fun for gamers and non-gamers alike. Oh yes, and most game stores like EB Games or Gamestop have a Wii you can try out if you want to see for yourself.

Wii is much cooler because it's more interactive. You move your arm to control the game. That's one step closer to virtual reality.

I say the 360 is better. You will get better games.Oh and the 360 hasn't had problems with overheating for awhile now.

360 over heats look on google 360 xbox overheating u will get over 400,000.00 things about it
