I keep hearing that Apple store and/or iPods will be on sale so wait to buy them. I am pretty intent on just buying a refurbished iPod from Apple store but would obviously wait if they are having a sale soon or if there are any other sales going on soon. I know after Christmas is sale season and most people do a lot of shopping, but do any of you know of any specific sale on Apple Store, any specific sale involving already cheap refurbished iPods, or any other brick-and-mortar store sales on iPods?

Buying a refurbished iPod directly from Apple is your best bet since they are also offering a warranty with their refurbished iPods. Good Luck!

Well, Now a days prices tend not to go down and all the sales are b4 christmas. The Lines are proablbly packed for this week. Every1 things theres sales. Maybe After New year it will go down. But Apple may be out of stock for some colors of the Nanos if u want a Nano or any other Ipod. So I'd either go now or wait till after new years.
