Hold down the play and menu button for 3 or more seconds. It should take you off the frozen screen. Then hold menu for about 5 seconds.

If this isn't working, go to apple help and they should be able to answer your problem.

There is something you can hold down to reset it. Try the apple web site. Type in frozen ipod, and it will take you right to it.

hey it happens all the time flick the hold button backwards and forwards 5 times make sure its not on hold and then hold down the menu and center button at the same time for 6 secs untill the i-pod sign comes up

Hold the menu and select buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. It should work after that.

hold down menu and select(center button) for twenty seconds or less. if this doesn't work, go onto apple.com

I like the microwave answer but you can also try the oven.

Plug it into your computer and hit reset. Then redownload all you songs back on.
