i reinstalled the software but nothing happens when i plug it in, the computer won't even recognize it. please answer quickly, i'm desperate!

Everytime I turn the TV on, a really loud noise occurs. The picture is fine. I've tried switching outlets and messing with the cables in back and the ones connected to the wall. It's very loud and I can't change the volume of the noise; it sounds like it's coming from inside the TV. The noise gets higher the longer the TV is left on, kind of like it's going to explode. It's kind of a gravelly noise? It's happened before, but it went away in the hour. Now it's been over a day. Any suggestions?

Hello! I bought the Sony 50 Inch Wega and even connected to an HDTV Box and looking at HDTV channels, it still doesn't look very clear. I have the Cable Box connected using Component Cables so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas or sites in which I could go to for assistance. Thank you very much.

I have a 1st gen Nano that is turning on and off by itself. It just keeps flashing the apple screen. It is not recgonized in iTunes or by my pc. I have tried to reset the nano with the hold switch. I have recharged the battery but it just wears out doing the same thing. Has anyone had this happen before and do you have any ideas for me? Thanks in advance.

I have some questions about iPods since I am considering getting one in the near future...

1) Do you HAVE to have the dock in order to charge it?
2) Which iPod model is the best, in your experience?
and 3) Is it really worth all the money to get an iPod or should I just settle for something less expensive and sophisticated?

i have a P5LD2 mother board with output for 8 speakers which i wanna connect to a receiver which i haven't bought yet, but don't want bundled up 8 wires ehhhhh. It has optical output so just running one wire would be nice, but what do i have to look for buying the receiver I wanna make sure i get all 8 channels, does the optical connect all those 8 channels? recommendetions to receivers would be nice hoping to keep the price under $700 i don't need something very loud, but quality is more important
