im looking for a Yamaha RX-V1500 im looking for a good price like in the 300 or 400s but i want it new with a warranty if its 400 and up and if its refurbsihed i want it yamaha certified refurbished and thats gotta be 350 and down any info on where i can find one let me no and dont say froogle, ebay, ubid, amazon, or pawnshops b/c ive been there

It looks like the prices pretty much bottom out
at $450 for new and $350 for refurbished.

That is a tough one indeed. I would perhaps try some REAL Yamaha dealers (by real, I mean, avoid Best Buy and others who sell "house brand" Yamaha model numbers). The REAL dealers just might have something like that left over. I say left over,because you mentioned the possibility of buying a refurbished unit. That also indicates to me that the RX-V1500 is discontinued. Still, it can't hurt to search for a dealer and ask. There are some Tweeter stores in my area (Boston), and I have seen some discontinued Yamaha equipment selling for cheap. Your right to avoid the "on-line" vendors, because it isn't always wise to buy something sight unseen. That is going to be quite a search. Good luck.
