I have a 1st gen Nano that is turning on and off by itself. It just keeps flashing the apple screen. It is not recgonized in iTunes or by my pc. I have tried to reset the nano with the hold switch. I have recharged the battery but it just wears out doing the same thing. Has anyone had this happen before and do you have any ideas for me? Thanks in advance.

ipods really suck, in my opinion... i have had 2 that did the same thing. what is happening is the battery is going bad. the only thing to do is buy a new battery. but they cost just about as much as a new ipod! i think they are a big rip off.
