I'm looking for a camera with the highest possible zoom I can find. I already learned to look for optical zooms, but sometimes I run into something like this in the description instead: "28-120mm zoom lens..." or a variation of numbers like that. It's confusing me...because I'm used to looking for the simple 5x optical zoom; I don't know how the "mm" figures compare. If you can help, I appreciate it. Thanks!

i have heard 1 stop, 2 stop always wondered. I know my f ranges from 2.5 to 8 or so.... is stop same as step?

Hi,

I already have an IPOD shuffle. It’s all good, but it doesn’t have a radio and I’d like an MP3 with the extra functionality. Ideally, it’d be a smaller, handy dandy sized player 512 to 1mb that I’d just use for jogging around, working out. Not looking to spend more than 70 bucks. Oh, and it needs to work on MAC OS. Can anyone recommend something other than IPOD?

Recently purchased a SanDisk Audio Player device. When I plug the USB port, the device powers up, and flashes occassionally when I do certain things. My computer prompts me that it has detected a new device. So far, that is about it. I've tried to upload songs from my media player under "Copy to Device". I assume the songs copied, but when I locate the device on 'My Computer' and open the folder, the songs are in an unreadable format. How do I work the thing?? Please help.
