Do you mean that when you highlight your iPod icon and iTunes shows the songs, they are "greyed out" and you cannot do anything? If so, click on the little iPod icon on the bottom right of the screen to bring up the iPod settings. If you cannot do anything on your iPod, you will notice that the "Automatically update iPod" button is selected. You have to change this to say "Manually update songs". This will now "unlock" your iPod and you should be able to customise it now.

It's hold,which means you can't move it.Unlock it.
