Recently purchased a SanDisk Audio Player device. When I plug the USB port, the device powers up, and flashes occassionally when I do certain things. My computer prompts me that it has detected a new device. So far, that is about it. I've tried to upload songs from my media player under "Copy to Device". I assume the songs copied, but when I locate the device on 'My Computer' and open the folder, the songs are in an unreadable format. How do I work the thing?? Please help.

The songs need to be in .mp3 format. You might be trying to copy songs in another format. Right-click on the song when it is on your computer and see what the suffix to the song file it is. If it isn't .mp3 then that is the problem.
