I have the sony ericsson W810i, and its the best phone I have ever had. Memory card gives great storage, and the built-in speakers are really good - perfect for sunbathing out the garden!! camera is good, and it looks smart too. I change my phone about twice a year, and the last one I had was the samsung D600, which is good too.

If you want to use it as a PHONE and not a glorified camera (These camera phones are a gimmick they takes crap pictures) then the best hone I can recommend is the business model.
Nokia 6310i
Long Battery Life
clear easy to use menus
strong clear signal
buttons you can actually press properly.
work very well with bluetooth headsets
works well in car kits (proper ones)
doesn't get any of these nasty SMS viruses

Verizon LG3200 (now the LG3300) and I would definitely not recommend it, it has no features, terrible signal, a really small screen, and very bad battery life. On the plus side, it has loud ring tones and big, easy to read buttons.

LG VX9800 through Verizon and I would definitely recommend this phone. Excellent reception, cool features, and is fun to see peoples reactions when you pull it out. Best phone I have ever owned.

Motorola ROKR. And yes it does the job quite well, as well as providing decent quality MP3 playback for when I have to take a bus.
