Consumer Electronics - 7 July 2006

Playing music from PC means booting it all the time, and in any case some media centre PCs make a lot of noise. Plugging my Ipod into my hi-fi leads to an unacceptable loss of quality. There must be a better way.

The camera did have pictures of the owners who met my son coming up from the beach. We will only give the camera to the couple on the photos so it will not be worth anyone else trying to claim it. If you know the couple please answer this posting and we will get back to you. Or can anyone suggest how we can contact the owners some other way.

I've been told that I can get a free cell phone when signing up for a one-two year contract with certain phone companies but I keep missing the "sales" or "events" - can anyone tell me where I can get a free cell phone right now? It cost me $199 and seemed to have all the specifics I was looking for.

Its a Polaroid, and even though that's not as reputable (in digital terms) as a Canon, it seems like a good choice.

I've yet to open it, though. Do you concur with my assement that I got a good camera for a good price?
