B&W television? means black and white television. in a technical language it's called monochrome telvision meaning one colour, but in real sense it isn't one colour,it's black, grey and white. a colour television(CTV) has three basic colours red, green and blue which mix to produce any required colour. that's the difference between B/W TV and CTV.
