I would go with the Panasonic PT-AE900U. I recently purchased this projector online and am amazed with it. The picture is bright (even on low bulb settings), the colors are rich and vibrant, and it is near dead-silent. It contains one HDMI input, two component inputs, one VGA input, one S-video input, and one RCA input. It also features a 720p HD resolution (native of 1280x720) It is great for games, movies, and HD football games. It runs off of LCD technology and uses 3 LCD chips for green, red, and blue. It also features a screendoor effect remover which removes the visible grid in between pixels that LCD projectors are notorious of producing. It has received great reviews online. It has been named on a couple of websites as the best projector for the money and is comparable to the high-end projectors.

Also Panasonic is giving out $400 rebates along with a $300 blockbuster giftcard with each projector. I got mine for around $1500 after rebates.
