When I restarted it, it said found an error or something and gave me two options. Option 1- Launch windows normally. Option 2- Launch start-up repair(recommended) obviously I picked that one. Well it went through the normal screens next and after it said loading files, it had a blank screen. It has been blank for about 4 hours now. I can't get into the computer to run a test. My computer came with all the software already installed and shortly after we purchased our computer, I moved home temporary. I put all the cd's my computer came with into storage in Hawaii. Can someone please help me figure out what needs to be done? Greatly Appreciated. I'm going insane without my laptop.

I need excel help!
Here is the data
My 2008 year for work starts on Friday December 28. Weeks are from Friday to Friday (thursday 11:59pm really i guess, but not important, sorry!)

-Wednesdays are the due dates for weekly submissions
Anything submitted by Wednesday "places" for that week

So if on Jan 2(wednesday) I Submit 3 cases,
I would have 3 cases for week 1

So to the Real Question
How do I return the # of the week in a cell , from the =TODAY() function

I want to be able to open my spreadsheet and see what number week it is and how many weeks are left for the year, I will also use the Week Number to calculate YTD progress on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. SO that is why I need to automatically calculate the Week Number of the Year.

PLEASE HELP I AM in ######NUM #######REF! hell (some excel humor for you)

i got a laptop that has xp and i asked a question about how well vista home premium will work on it. i was recommended to dual boot both os. does anyone know how i can do this.
p.s i havent installed the vista yet and have no recovery disks for the xp installed

I used my reinstallation copy (from my new PC) to put vista home premium on my laptop which was running XP. So it was running fine on my laptop but after 30 days it makes you enter a license key. It is cheaper to buy an upgrade disc than to purchase an additional license. But it says you cant upgrade from XP to Home Premium. So my question is, since vista is alredy installed on my laptop, wouldnt an upgrade disc give me the license I need (saving me $100), even tho I supposedly "cant" upgrade from my current OS?

I have a powerpoint presentation set up with all the timing I want, it works fine, correct length for the song but when I insert the the song in the first slide thepresentation will not go to the next slide. I get the song for the whole first slide only, it will not got to the next one.
Please be gentle with me, I,m just a HE operator and this stuff is kinda foriegn to me.

I have windows vista home premium and i wanted it to look like a Mac OS X. I dont want to use flyakite because i heard about some bad stuff about it. I just want something to look like a mac with the dock and stuff. i had have leapord but it stil looked very much like windows. i want something that i can switch back easily and where i do not need to make backup copies of the original files.

Lets say I have a fixed reference such as 86759 in Cell A1 and a date next to it, on my second tab is a weekly changing worksheet with the same reference but the date changes. How can I get tab one cell A1s date to update when the tab 2 date changes. Meaning, I have a primary list of jobs with start dates which is a fixed sheet. Weekly I get updated job list to which the start dates have changed. When I copy and paste the updated report in tab b, I would like my cell reference to find the job number in tab b, and the new date, and update the date on my fixed primary sheet?
