I have been trying to burn a data disc. It will not let me burn the disc. I know exactly how to burn cds/dvds in just about any format. The only problem here is that when I try to burn a file onto the disc and I drag what I want to burn into the spot on Windows Media Player that says "Drag Items Here" it puts the little red "No" sign. Kind of like the sign they use for no smoking. It wont let me drag things and drop them there. What is wrong, I know it has nothing to do with the driver, as I have uninstalled it and re-installed it. Please Help.

I am now in trouble.
because always I assumming price for developing software for company is very low as I expected. I am database software developer and generally I am developing software for perticular company, like their payroll, accounting, taxation, and other and I say them I will charge you like 1000$ and more but my 2 to 3 month will pass away for developing this software so always I failure to get succeed and also I found many marketing problem. can any one suggest answer???

im using a dvd camera, the out put format on my computer is mpeg2, i use dvd producing softwares such as roxio my dvd 8 or power producer to make dvd's.
the problem is i can only fit about 1 hour of my films into a dvd disc, is there any way to shrink the files without spoiling the quality of them?? can this be done during the creation of a dvd or should i use extra software

Before people say im an idiot, heres what I mean. I loaded Battlefield 1942, 3 times now, each time it does the same things. I loaded Road to rome, and it does the same thing. I can't load secret weapons expansion. Theres an error stating it tried to load a file that wasn't present. Then, I load Vietnam, same thing.

Basically, it loads, I make a game, its different each time. The first time it froze after about 1 minute of play, the second time was almost when the battle was over, the 3rd time, it froze while loading. I tried everything I can think of, even loading it in safe mode. Still the same problems. So...why can't I play these games on my computer?

Amd Athlon 5200 X2 64bit
Nvidia 7900 graphics card
2 gigs of dual channel ram (Crucial)
Everything runs cool, I have a SATA HD, and all the other parts are good. So, what would cause the computer not to be allowed to play battlefield? And...its only battlefield so far...the other 4 games worked...but I have more to try..

My work computer crashed, and I unfortunately don't have the original disks to reboot Windows XP, so I downloaded a copy. Trouble is, I don't know what to do with the downloaded copy now!! All of my computers proir to this have been preinstalled with XP, and not to mention i've got to try the install on a pc that has crashed, it all just scares me a little I guess! Is installing XP any different than any other program installation? If so,how? Also will the install even be possible on a crashed pc, and if so what steps should I take to ensure success? I know i'm asking alot, but I really need my computer for work, and can't seem to get anyone to physically help me, so i'm going to give it a shot and hope for the best! Step by step directions for dummies would be perfect, but I will take what I can get. Thanks in advance to anyone nice enough to lend there expertise!! Will award points promptly!!!

I seem to hit a dead end where separate files can not be clicked onto to create a master slide show of all files in "My Pictures". Can I take the individual pictures out of the files (that don't want to be included in the slide show) and move them inbetween other pictures in the slide show that does appear, then deleting the empty files afterwards?

Any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
