Well for whatever reason you are downgrading from Vista to XP, yes you can do that.
You will have to REMOVE Vista before installing XP coz u cant install an older operating system on a new one - overwriting is not possible.
================================
You can remove Vista simply by formatting the partition that Vista is in. To do that, you will need a bootable CD of any operating system, a LIVE CD of any operating system or a bootable diskette.
Insert the preferred media, and using the dos command FORMAT X: format the particular partition.
DONT FORGET TO BACK UP IMPORTANT DATA BY MAKING COPY ON A PARTITION THAT YOU DONT INTEND TO FORMAT.
========================
After formatting, you are ready to install Windows XP

Your computer will run on XP just fine but you would have to buy a copy of XP there is no downgrading from Vista its not an update its a completely new OS.
how would you know that there are too many bugs in it I beta tested it. Vista is just as stable as XP. it is like XP SP2
not XP SP0 it does not have the holes XP did when it first came out. they worked on it an extra 2 years with beta testers. its pretty bug free.
BTW Danltn it comes on a DVD
unless its the mail in upgrade then you can choose.

Actually, I would leave Vista there, but then install XP on another partition. Setup a dual boot configuration and run both. When you turn on the pc it will ask which OS you want to start.

you are able to not "downgrade" your version of domicile windows (or maximum different softwares) they might desire to format the perplexingchronic and do an entire deploy of domicile windows XP to get lower back to it. They probably do no longer desire to try this (without your permission) because of the fact it might wipe each and every thing on the perplexingchronic - all you song, video clips, archives archives, etc. The deploy is easy adequate which you are able to have the skill to insert the XP CD, boot the laptop and enable it do the deploy. You shouldnot desire their help to do it.

Not as safe as if you were running Vista.
Vista doesn't have 'too many bugs and flaws' in it. Use it for a few weeks and it will grow on you. The security features built-in to it are worth the price alone. Just use it and forget about XP. Seriously.

I can't believe Vista don't support Photoshop..that's Absurd.
I guess that's why you're downgrading back to XP!

Yes, it'll work fine. But you could send that Vista CD to someone who needs it, namely me?
