Im using a Sun Microsystems Operating System on a computer in a public place. Anyone know of any websites or names of messengers that uses MSN clients and is also SunOS compatible?

and i cant use getmess, its really hard to configure given the programs poorly detailed installation instructions

Try meebo for browser based instant messaging.
Java Desktop System does come with Gaim, called Instant Messenger. It does MSN and other IM networks, and works on other platforms as well.
It is unlikely you can install things, but community sites like blastwave package Gaim and other things for Solaris.
A portable Gaim, run from a USB stick, only seems to be around for Windows at the moment.
