Trying to include all "My Pictures" in a Windows Viewer Slide Show?

Question

I seem to hit a dead end where separate files can not be clicked onto to create a master slide show of all files in "My Pictures". Can I take the individual pictures out of the files (that don't want to be included in the slide show) and move them inbetween other pictures in the slide show that does appear, then deleting the empty files afterwards?

Any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Tried putting all the pictures in one folder but all the folders within the large folder stayed separate and they will not merge into one large slide show. Or perhaps I did this wrong?

NOBODY IS GETTING IT. I want to move all the pictures with each folder NOT in the slide show into the master folder that contains the slide show. So tell me how to move the pictures individually, please, so I can then delete the empty folders!

I don't know if your system is the same as mine but I'll explain out the steps I use when I want a picture show as my screen saver. Here goes:

Move cursor to bottom left of computer and click on "Start"
In the right hand column click on "my computer"
Click on "Change settings"....in the left hand column under "system tasks".
Click on "Control Panel"
Click on "Display"
Click on "Screen Saver"
Click on "settings"
Click on "browse"
Click on "my pics" or whatever you call it
click on the specific file you want within this if you have it subcategorized, and then maybe another subfile within this one. Say okay then check your settings.

Edit your pic file and put the files you do not want to open in slide show , in a folder ..then cut paste it into your video file. just remember they are there...LOL they won't be lost and won't play in the slide show either...
