I want to see ALL programms that are running on the PC - also the ones in the background or maybe hidden. My PC's so slow....also the so-called Highspeed-Internet is more slowly than a dial-up connection. I know that there's a command you can use to get this list of programms but I forgot it !! I have the 32 bit installion CD or DVD and i get stuck on step 3 when it is supposed to update the BIOS. It says the computer should restart after the BIOS has downloaded, when its done nothing happens. Ive waited most an hour but nothing. I recently re-installed windows xp on my computer. The problem however is that i installed it on a partition that was too small, and after only a few days i have just 186 MB left and nothing to delete. The partition is only 3.5 GB I have paragon partition manager, but it doesn't seem to help much. Is it even possible to make the partition that windows is installed on any larger? Is there a free program or some way inside windows to do this?

I have XP installed on my computer but it is playing up nd i cant run windown, it just loops back to the reset evreytime i try to start it. I want to format my PC and start afresh but am not sure how to do this. I have done it before iwth other OP's but always from MS-DOS mode and am not sure how, if you can, to startup in DOS without involving windows. I dont have a window XP disk to reinstall and have not boot disks of any kind. Can i just get to DOS mode?

FIRST: I know that copying, for distribution, is illegal. Copying for archive, or backup, is not.
I am using Nero 7 Essentials.
What add-ons, additional software is necessary to copy my DVDs?????

This is so when copied into a Word document it will lay on a portrait set up sideways. Hope this makes sense!! I know you can copy it to word and set paper to landscape but this is not what I am after. Thanks in advance.
