I have the 32 bit installion CD or DVD and i get stuck on step 3 when it is supposed to update the BIOS. It says the computer should restart after the BIOS has downloaded, when its done nothing happens. Ive waited most an hour but nothing. If its not too much trouble could you give me step by step instructions for a Toshiba Satelitte A105-S4254 UPGRADING to Windows Vista Home Premium.

This issue appears to be specific to your model & brand of PC.
The upgrade DVD was most likely shipped to you by Toshiba for a new PC that originally had XP on it.
That said .... Toshiba surely offers free & full support for the upgrade.
I strongly suggest you call them since the issues you mention appear to deal with proprietary factors.
