You know - I keep harping that people getting Vista right now are Microsoft's 'beta testers'..... Wait until the SP-2 version comes out. I'm sure they'll be fixing lots of problems people are having. Remember that to run Vista, you need a dual core processor or an Intell 800 series chip (or better - or similar (other than Intel) chip), a gig of ram (even though they say 512 - I wouldn't even attempt it) and a really hefty video card if you want the graphics working right. Most computers can't handle it - or people trying to install Vista on barely acceptable PCs and they're having big-time problems.

I know in XP, there's a section that says "run the proglram like..... it's 98 (instead of XP). I can't help thinking that Vista will have something similar.... but I'm sure there will be better games created just for Vista......I'm waiting another year.....

Don't upgrade to vista. Wait it out six month, people have been having problems with programs and devices not playing nice with it. And if your computer is over a year old you should upgraded to vista period.

I would wait. But if you have to, install it as a second OS and test each game (and program) first. Then when all work, you could switch.
