I have a DVD film that I bought, and i want to convert it into AVI to crop small part of it and use is it for my school project . What program do I use ? and How ?

My business revolves around attaching art files and this has already created problems this morning.

Does anyone know why it would suddly stop working? I was working fine yesterday. Last night, I tried to send a .pdf and it just sat there. I can click the "x" and it says "End Program" and it deletes the email without me having to close down Outlook.

I tried "help-detect & repair" with no luck.

If i do manage to round up the disk, if i reinstall it, will it delete all my old emails? This is NOT good in my line of work and will be a disaster with all the subfolders of emails/files from clients.

Everytime I start my laptop powerpoint automatically starts up and loads a slide that says something dumb about company stuff like not using the internet radio, not using certain websites, not using email for personal use etc. It only loads one slide and after about 5 seconds it closes. How the hell do I edit my startup so this does not happen? It slows my startup a lot. Thanks.

My computer got infected by various Trojans and spybots. I keep trying to fix it by downloading antispyware but as soon as I start the download, my computer says 'application failed to initialize because Windows is shuting down'. Then my computer proceeds to restart, terminating my download. (I use Windows XP)

I don't know whats wrong with my microsoft word it doesn't open any .doc files in it. Should I really reinstall it? If I reinstall where will I get the same full version which I have now in the internet? Do I have to use activation keys or somethings? If yes please give it to me. I am looking for a program that monitiors your internet connection and tells you if any programs are using your connection bandwith. I have a slow enough connection as it is, and sometimes noticably more so. Is there any program that will tell you what programs are using up your speed.

I used to be able to select the appropriate layer by clicking on the image. i.e. when clicking on a certain part of an image, the corresponding layer would automatically be slected. It suddenly has stopped doing it and i dont know how to get that function back.
