hello everybody,

i have a PC with intel pentium D820,Samsung 80GB sata HDD ,and have WIN XPSP2 installed on it .
i am not a verry intellegnet PC user so one day i was just trying DISKPART command in command prompt (i want to tell u i have four partitions in my HDD C,D,E,F in which C is the system disk)
Accindentelly i marked the partition E as ACTIVE (the part was empty) .And after that when ever i starts my pc it is not starting it shows the system setup screnn after that it prompts me something like this===

PLEASE RESTART THE COMPUTER AND SELECT A PROPER BOOT DEVICE
OR INSERT THE BOTT DISK IT THE DRIVE AND PRESS ENTER
i tried to biit from A MSDOS start up floppy disk but probelom was still not solved please help me what shoul i do pleaseplease

This was included in my software bundle when I purchased my Tiny Computers XP system, just before they went out of business, here in the UK. I would like to open it to find out if a program that I possibly deleted in error could be restored. I have only been able to access Technical files which do not seem to be user friendly. There was no paperwork accompanying disk.

I can't boot from cd-rom nor floppy anyway I was told if I remove the ram from the pc then boot with out the ram and get the ram error message then shut down and reboot with ram inside this will get rid of this message that I can't go beyond?? Is this true? will it fix the problem?? is there a chance I could damage something else by doing this? do you think it will work or will it give me even more problems?? worth trying?

I am reading an eBook on pdf format that is just too long for me to finish in just one sitting. Last time, I just write the page number on a piece of paper. Easy. But being Adobe Reader a software for "reading", it seems silly to me not having some way to keep the page where I was. The so-called "bookmarks" is just a table of contents with links to the pages the editor believed were the most important. That's fine. But... there is any way I can "bookmark" the pdf myself (on Reader, not Acrobat or so)? Some script or plug-in for Reader, or maybe a third-party solution? I would appreciate not having "format conversion" answers... I want to keep it as pdf. I just want to know if it's possible to save the page ...

well i just got this new computer and i donwnloaded mozilla firefox and im trying to see a lil graphic or animation but it dosent move its just frozen. when ihad my old computer it let me see it move but now its just fozen. what can i download to make it move?? i already download macromedia flash and adove and some other flash and quick time what am i doing wrong?? and where can i download it..what ever it is.

I have a PC with duel boot running Vista and XP, both area clean installs, i formatted the hard drive and partitioned them both for an even split over Vista and XP,

My internet connecton while using XP is fast, fast as can be expected anyway (500+ kbps) but when i try and use Vista its like 1 - 30 kbps and this is downloading off some major websites. Whats vista doing to my connecton! Anyone got any ideas?

How do I save my Knoppix Configuration? I clicked the K button then Knoppix and save I selected SDA3 is this the correct way to save it? it shows several other places to save but I am new to this and dont want to damage my system.
