Rather than using pirated software, how about going the legal route and trying out some of these rather excellent and totally free and legal graphics programs?
Unless you are a highly trained and skilled professional, in which case you could and would afford photoshop, these programs, singly or in combination, will do everything you need or want to do. It's just a matter of learning and practice.
