I have I-explorer 8 (the one w/tabs on the toolbar) and it frequently and randomly says "We are sorry for the inconvienence, but internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close"
I am getting really annoyed by it and I'm considering switching to firefox but I dont know how good it is. Anyone Have it?

I am thinking about putting Linux on my laptop, but I hear there are some occasions where I still may need Windows. I have a 50 gig hard drive, and an additional 7 where Windows is permanently installed.

Is it possible to have both installed, and choose when and if to run windows for school papers etc.? I do not play games on my pc.

Simply chat, microsoft office, and browse online.

When I'm playing FreeCell, my window sometimes goes unclicked, then clicked, then unclicked, then clicked. Why is this? It only does it when I make a move.

if your gonna say firefox, please exlain how to use it. i already tried that and i've had no luck. when its downloaded to my computer i cant open it. a box pops up that says something like : windows can't open this file it needs to find the program that created it.

I downloaded some songs from napster and played them on My computer in windows media player 11 my default music player they have played in the media player for about 6 months i turn on my computer this morning go to listen to them and media Player refuses to play them, i tried playing them in I tunes no luck there either. The file has become corrupted can i claim my money back for those songs from Microsoft because of dodgy software??

I just bought my computer about a month ago. It has Windows Vista operating system. I tried to go to websites that use java, but it says i dont have java installed. It takes me to a microsoft website, which then states that microsoft operating systems do not come with java anymore. Should I just download it from a 3rd party (sun microsystems) or am i supposed to get something else for my vista? pls help thanks

i had to get another keyboard for my other computer. when i plugged it in it came to the dell screen and when it quit loading than it went to a black screen with a small white line on the top left side of the screen. what can i do to fix it. the computer didnt come with a xp disk. on the boot screen it does not have safe mode and when i click on normal it doesnt do anything. what is wrong

I recently downloaded Ubuntu 6.10 with instructions from Popular Science magazine. I just wanted to get the file on a hard copy before downloading, so I tried to copy it on the CD. However, there is not enough room, and I don't know what to do. Is it possible to split the file into two parts but still have a seamless installation?

I need a program that when i scan documents i could add or delete from the scanned document ( cuz normally i have to type it from the begining and that takes a lot of time) soo if there it is a such program that with the scanned documents i could add words or delete some.

How do I Make a cell that says "As of Today" and instead of Today pulls the current date MM/DD/YYYY. I haven't been able to add anything to the function Today () to make this work. Does anyone else have a way to do this?
