If so, what is it? If not where can I get the cheapest program for burning DVD's?

If your computer is new and you have a DVD drive that is supposed to burn DVDs then you should have some software that came on it. You can go to places like Nero, and Roxio and download it freebut you won't be able to use every feature unless you buy it. But you can burn with it.

If your vaio is running XP or Vista it should have burning software. Maybe it was missed out from the install... try installing the component from the install CD or install CD image.

You *do* have a DVD burner in your Vaio don't you? If it doesn't have a DVD burner then there's no point installing the software. Go out and buy an external burner and it should come with software / you could use Windows burning software anyway.

What I would recommend is to find a external dvd burner
they are much cheaper than the software

Good luck!!!
