I am extremely clueless when it comes to computer "lingo"

I also would like to be able to put music on and take music off of my iPod(like i do with my normal MP3 player).

You can use the built-in software in Windows (Windows Media Player)...

It will RIP (convert your CD's to MP3) and organize for you...

Best of all... it is FREE since you have Windows!

If you haven't upgraded to Version 11 (the one in Vista) get your free download from Microsoft!

iTunes is by far the best for overall conversion, importing and library management.
