oh ****, sounds like a bios error, listen did you install the hardware component? if not, and if you did and it wasnt windows verified, that Is SERIOUS!

Try this Cheroke r

turn computer off
turn on
press F8 untill Startup Selection Shows.
Pick Safe Mode

Note: this will temp fix computer, but i highly sugget you format the harddrive

goto cmd.exe but clicking start/run and type cmd

then type format c

NOTE! This is the only way to fix!, I SUGGEST YOU GET AN XP DISK THOUGH AS ONCE YOU FORMAT IT BYE-BYE,

but this will fix the error

or you could go cheap 30$ and get Linux :)

no remember if that's a playstation /2 keyboard (around connector): the pc could be grew to become thoroughly off for it to be detected. many computers with out on/off switches could be unplugged to be grew to become off. pressing the main button will in basic terms placed some computers to sleep. no remember if that's a USB keyboard, this is a properly-prevalent subject and there is not something you're able to do approximately it till abode windows boots. that's incredibly basic and affordable to alter a usb keyboard to a playstation /2 keyboard with an adaptor.

What type of keyboard is it? USB or the older PS/2 port?

Even with a keyboard error, the computer should still boot into the OS.

hmm, that's a tough one without knowing more... Hit delete while the ram is counting down (when you first boot) and go to the boot menu. Find the entry about errors, and set it to "halt on all but keyboard", hit f10 and restart......see if that works.

if your keyboard is a usb keyboard then dont use it try getting one of the types that plug into your keyboard slot because they just have regular perfectly fine functions on them.
