if your gonna say firefox, please exlain how to use it. i already tried that and i've had no luck. when its downloaded to my computer i cant open it. a box pops up that says something like : windows can't open this file it needs to find the program that created it.

If your computer has a video output card you can record the video to a VHS or DVD-R/W, all you need is the appropriate hardware. You can not download from YouTube, I've already tried, but I was successful when I used a video output card. I used an S-video output card with a S-video cable connected to a DVD-R/W. Then I recorded straight to DVD. It is expensive, but it can done.

Well, yes you can. Download it with the firefox downloader. Go to videolan.org and download the vlc media player. It will play those *.flv files just fine. Windows Media Player won't cut it.
It's the media player's fault, not Firefox's.

lol... mp3 is a sound document..... no longer video data.....in case you even attempt doing that, you wont get the vid.. in simple terms sound... yet once you in basic terms wanna acquire youtube vids pass to Youtube downloader 3000

SURE GO TO YOUTUBEX.COM AND ON YOUTUBE THERE IS GOING TO BE A UR; BOX COPY IT AND ON YOUTUBEX.COM ITS GOING TO BE THE SAME INSTEAD PASTE THE URL U JUST COPIED AN VOILA!!!! IT DOWNLOADS... ALSO THERE R SOME DIRECTIONS ON HOW U HAVE TO SAVE THE FILE AS AND I THINK A CONVERTER..WELL HOPE THIS HELPS.
