All I have on my computer is the old Word Pad. I need it up for school stuff. Any help? Remember, free.

ok well I have this laptop that I can burn DVDs now...I was having a problem with putting movies on any blank DVD cause my laptop said that I needed " blank or rewritable DVD 9" whats that I ask?.......well after calling ppl and looking online I thought it was a DVD+R DL I bought those....they allowed me to burn almost all the movie on it but now the recorded movie wont play in anything even my laptop which plays any kind of movie....can someone please help me I know I asked a question earlier asking what rewritable DVD 9 was but I need more help casue I didnt really explain much can someone please help me I dont know what else to do and I am about to get rid of my laptop if I cant figure it out....Thanks to all

if i use microsoft powerpoint version 07, and i save it to a disk and bring it to school next day and use it on the 2006 version will my file still work the same? like if i dont use animations and all that. if not then where can i find trial version 2006?

I've already downloaded some stuff by torrents. All the sudden I saw they have put NEED FOR SPEED CARBON for downloading which wasn't Demo. It was a full version which has a $60 price. Now, the question is are they legal? If they are, how?! They are making game companies bankrupted! If they are not, so why aren't they blocked? Does the copyright law allow them to do this? Is that legal for us to download? I've been stopped downloading Torrents because I'm not sure anymore. I thought they are just some kind of backup files or something. There was also Microsoft 2007 ($300) and Windows Vista ($200 to $700) for FREE download!! What's going on? What should I do now if they are illegal? Deleting them?! I just downloaded the game "DRIVER" which is not valuable anymore. Please help!

I have recently ordered and received the Ubuntu CD and now I can't install the OS. It just won't do anything when I try to boot from it. I could go into Windows Explorer and see whats on the disk, but that only lets me install some programs. It said I have to boot from the disk, but it just won't boot from it! Help!

Does any1 know how to make software in a "simple way" By simple way i mean besides learning computer language (like C++ and Java) . Is there a sofrware that makes software lol. Or can sum start me off with a quick lesson because im only in 10th grade but i wanna make a software. Is there a way 2 learn quickly without taking classes on it ?

Every time I click on it, an error message shows up and I can't do anything. Plus, a program that I used to download won't work either. I used 'search' already on the comp, even on add/remove programs, the error message still shows up. I can't delete the file, help?!

I have same problems with IE(7) - first of all javasccript doesnt work(I know how to active and desactive it and where).When i saw that problem I simply download Firefox , but some programs depends of IE(some system prog and some no system), for exemple when I try search(start-search) it says that cant found the searcher file , when I try to access to some options in control panel it says Internet Explorer script error, the same happens when I try to purchase a game from PC or look property of page (right click- proprety).
How can i solution this problem?Help me please,thanks

P.D I already tried to reinstall IE7 , but I dont see any changes

i have tried to download and install both adobe reader 8.0 and expert PDF. When installing, I get an error message Invalid Drive T:\, on both.

why am i getting this, and is there any other FREE software I can use as i NEED a PDF reader.

i am running Windows Vista Home Premium.
