General question. Here is general answer.

Sounds like your power supply (PS). When your PS is overloaded, it will cut off just long enough to restart your system. Maybe you have just added a high speed video card, which would up the wattage for your PS. I presume you have run the normal virus and spyware checks.

You can google your computer or open the side panel of your computer to see what voltage is your PS.
