my windows media player wont play anything i download from internet....... and my music match jukebox wont as well. who can suggest any other player that will play stationsfrom the internet or accept downloads. i will appreciate all ur anwers

That in windows XP I like to turn off automatic updates and do it manually,, but a pop up red ballon remain on the right corner to tell me that I have to turn on automatic updates,,, how I make this ballon never appear?

In total, there are 24 avi files. But whenever i analyze the files on Nero Vision Express, the file size increases upto 6GB. How do i burn all the files on 1 DVD-Video? Is any other application under Nero 7 Premium Reloaded more helpful in this case? What should I do? How do I compress the files?

I have the below formula to calculate the number of days between a random date and the last working day. And I am not sure what to enter in place of the question mark so that it always uses the last working date? B9 is where my random date is located.

=DAYS360(B9,?,TRUE)

Your when you open a letter template at work and prompts pop up asking you to fill in name, address etc and then these prompts automatically fill in the correct parts of the document - well how can I change these prompts?? - Help!!

Hi if anyone can help me on this it will be really REALLY appreciated...
I recently had some files that I wanted to protect on my external harddrive. I used Folder Locker by Softpen. It locked all fine no problems until I then unlocked them, all my files had vanished and all it left me was a folder named 365 with nothing in it. I emailed them and they have basically told me that I need to use an Undelete program to get them back, after trying 30 odd different programs I am now using Final Recovery by Meetsoft, it does list all of the files I am missing, the only problem I have is that once I retrieve them they dont work, all the files are either JPG or AVI, I will have one of the folders that will have one that workes then 20 that dont then 2 that do etc. The files sizes are correct, they are just all unviewable. I have tried media fixers but they dont seem to fix the problem. Can anyone suggest anything I can try or know of a different program that might get my files back in one piece??

just recently when Avg antivirus scans for viruses my pc becomes sluggish while its scanning, it only started this recently, when it finishes it says i no viruses detected, and i also have checked for spyware and nothing has been detected...anyone know how to fix this or why its doing this?

Hi people, I need a file manager because I want to organize my documents. My documents was saved in different folders and when I look for one of them i have to search in each folder so I want managing my files with tags and I don't know which file manager does it.

I've exhausted all other efforfts, but still cannot get my Limewire back.

Hey. I bought AOE 3 a while back about a year or so. ANd i was instsalling it on my new laptop. Its worked fine on my desktops but halfway through the installlation on the laptop it comes up with an error message saying: Error 1305. Error reading from file C:\ Program files\ microsoft games\ Age of empires III\avi\age3.bik. Verify that the file exist and that you can access it. I went to the folder and it does exist. Any help will b gladly appreciated thnx.
Iv re-installed it but it still dosnt work!

Hi. As I know, the NTFS file system uses the SID of users to identify users and control their access to files. If I want to reinstall my Windows, all the users would be given new SIDs. Will they then lose their permissions / owner rights to their files (on NTFS volume)? If so, what can I do to preserve the NTFS permissions to users while reinstalling Windows?

I'm afraid reinstalling / upgrading Windows would cause users to lose their rights on the files...

And one more question, since I'm kinda confused about NTFS permissions. If I have an USB drive formatted with NTFS and create a file on a computer (so I have the owner rights), can I still edit the file on another computer? Or do I have read-only rights?
