Also when i plug my usb into the computer I'm not the administrator so how would i be able to get past the username/password screen?

There are many commercial ones (such as adobe premier) but they are expensive! Why dont you try virtual dub which is free? http://www.virtualdub.org/download
I have been using it for years and it is quite good!!
