That in windows XP I like to turn off automatic updates and do it manually,, but a pop up red ballon remain on the right corner to tell me that I have to turn on automatic updates,,, how I make this ballon never appear?

Open Control Panel then Security Center. You will see a link on the left side that says Change the Way Security Center Alerts Me. Uncheck Automatic Updates and it will not pop up again.

That is probably your antivirus doing that. Check your options in your antivirus program to turn it off.
