Hey. I bought AOE 3 a while back about a year or so. ANd i was instsalling it on my new laptop. Its worked fine on my desktops but halfway through the installlation on the laptop it comes up with an error message saying: Error 1305. Error reading from file C:\ Program files\ microsoft games\ Age of empires III\avi\age3.bik. Verify that the file exist and that you can access it. I went to the folder and it does exist. Any help will b gladly appreciated thnx.
Iv re-installed it but it still dosnt work!

Is your laptop hard drive working properly?! Try running a scan-disk to make sure!

Good one Sandy, also check and see if there is a scratch in your install disk. Sometimes a small scratch will go unnoticed by the drive but still leav out crucial files needed to run the program.

nicely, i had this subject 2 quite, u can try here: a million.Get a clean pictures card(dont ask why even nevertheless it worked 4 me 2.try uninstalling classes u dont use to unlock area for the data 3. restoration the computing gadget lower back to whilst u had the sport put in (observe: lower back-up all data on an empty rom or floppy if u choose for this) 4: VIRUS test!!!! (viruses can get into the data that carry the standards for setting up/setup) if none of that works....then get a clean modem
