i would like to just remove the vocals and just hear the music.

Not worth the trouble. Vocal removers work by flipping one of the stereo channels to "cancel" the other channel, as theoretically the voice would be identical on both channels. The actual result is the music becomes extremely "washed out" and distant, losing all of the high notes, and even then you can hear a light echo of the vocals if you listen for it.

You can try analogx.com's vocal remover as a DirectX plug-in, which should work in Audacity, the freeware sound editor.

you can't remove certain parts of a sound file like that. your best bet is just to search for the instrumental version or the song. but once vocals are recorded into a song, there's no removing them unless you're the actual producer in which case you'd have the song opened in a program with the recordings set up in layers.

Anything that will try and remove the vocals is just going to make the beat sound like crap.

hmm. unsure. i will would desire to pay interest to bigger. the only radiohead assessment i heard grew to grow to be indoors the vocal - according to probability i've got have been given now no longer heard sufficient radiohead? (I honestly have....) i spoke of mew at a contest in denmark - yet i did now no longer pay them sufficient activity, and function no longer have been given around to following them up. oh exact.
