double check what is written on the paper that came from Microsoft. capital letter b's can look like the number 8, so make sure you read it carefully. If it still doesn't work, then you need to get back to the place you purchased it.

If its not a closed package with a proper microsoft certificate and product key and you paid for it, someone gave you a stolen copy of Office. If you downloaded it somewhere with a key, then thats illegal and you shouldn't complain.

If yours was a legal copy then, sure it should work else, you have all the right to call Microsoft Technical Help.

If yours is a pirated version then, you can get it from websites which I would not like to mention cause I know that you are having an original copy.

Also, try to figure out every letter that you type. Even if one of them is incorrent, the complete key is incorrect.

it should give you microsoft number ,ring them they ask a few questions, then give you another product key. I have found them very helpful when I had to re install microsoft office hope it goes well

First did you buy it ??? If so then call microsoft , if not then use a key gen . I mean we are talking legal right ?

Check whether you have genuine Microsoft software. If not you can complain about the vendor from whom you have purchased the software.
