I bought microsoft office 2003 student/teacher edition, but had to do a system restore on my computer b/c of a virus and i don't have my cd key. is there anyplace i can go to find it or get another one? because i didn't register with microsoft before, they said they can't help me.

I going to have to duct tape my church secretary's head from exploding if she has to use "membership plus" one more time (it's absoutly terrible) about There is nothing but ads when you search in the engines. Amazon is almost no help at all. None of the review websites have helped either.

Can anybody recommend anything?

We want to use it for contributions, member information, sunday school....etc......

my programmes freeze up a lot lately and some have crashed. been re-directed to msn downloads but to be honest don't find there site particularly informative, or anything they suggest i have tried. it happens mostly when i am on the net and i defrag, remove adware, spyware and all the other stuff that is recommended. am i missing something? my son told me that firefox is the way to go. anyone else of the same opinion or had similar problems and resolved, and if so how. thanks for help

All I get on the cd is a icon with 44 bytes .
Any suggestions or would anyone know why?
even my old tapes I recorded of family get togethers that I put to cd then mp3 will not burn to an audio cd .
the track icon that is 44 bytes only directs the computer to play it just from the computer why- Thanks

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to install McAfee VirusScan Plus 2007 on my Windows XP machine. Each time I get an error saying it can't install because of Norton Rescue Disk and Norton Antivirus 2002 Professional Edition.

I have never installed these items so they must have come with this computer (Dell Dimension). I uninstalled everything I could but am still getting the error.

Here is what I have done so far:

*Uninstalled Norton
*Went to the Norton website and used the removal tool to get rid of anything Norton leaves behind.
*Removed all Norton/Symantec folders and files.
*Went into the Regedit and got rid of everything Norton/Symantec
*Also tried booting into Safe Mode to get rid of everything.
*ran all my spyware products.
*Went to the McAfee help site and they cant' help me because it is a Norton product.
*Went to Norton and they don't have anything relating to products from 2002.

So, how on EARTH do I get rid of this? I want to install my software.

I really need to get rid of this program. Also, I can not reinstall XP because it didn't come with this Dell.

If you have a film in avi or mpeg format of about 700mb, what is the best way of making that into a playable dvd? I use nero7 demo, but it takes an age to "Transcode" the video and sometimes the results are unstable on a dvd player.
In simple terms, how do i create "iso" files from avi and mpeg files?? Is it best to make a dvd using iso?? Please help! I'm not very computer orientated, so, please be simple and clear in explanations.. Many thanks...

have downloaded google toolbar but can only get it on the dropdown menu when I click on search. previously google search sitting on toolbar for easy access and found it great for item search. it seems to have disappeared into space, any advice as it might sound simple if you know how instead of not knowing how and sounding simple. help would be good. is it the wrong question to ask on yahoo do you think.

It shows that I can make coments on the boxes.. which is fantastic, because I normally have to add a lot of info..Can anyone tell me how to make those little boxes..I can't use the help feature, because I have a spanish version of excel so I have no idea what to look under.. any help would be appreciated.

It'll skin the tops of all my programs and the other stuff. But it just will not skin the startbar, taskbar, programs menu. Anything connected to the startbar is not skinned. Help.

I'm burning a DVD right now, but I want to start my next project so it's ready by the time the other DVD is done... anyways, NERO won't let me... when I click it to start it minimizes to the taskbar... help? Thanks!
