You can patent it, then have somebody code it for you and since you have it patented, they can't steal it.

You could also mail the idea to yourself in a certified letter while you are seeking a patent. It will certify the date you came up with the idea if someone tries to take it from you.

yes you can patent an idea, im not sure of the process but i know you can.
