In Excel Sheet, I want to get results based on slab e.g.:
if amount is between 0 to 2000 the cell should display 0, and
if amount is between 2001 to 2500 the cell should display 30, and if amount is between 2501 to 3500 the cell should display 60, and if amount is between 3501 to 5000 the cell should display 120,and if amount is between 5001 to 10000 the cell should display 175 or else it should display 200.

"THE RESULTANT FIGURE SHOULD BE NUMERIC VALUE"

it's really doing my head in - ive tried giving all folder options back to default - think it might of started when i was trying to stop windows media being my default - i can system folders seem to be alright i think and i can get to folder content by using the explorer bit from my computer - also my system restore seems knackered so im gonna have to reinstall if i cant sort it soon

Every time I try to open a Excel or Word file on my computer (a Dell desktop running Windows XP), Norton runs a virus scan on the file. This is driving me crazy because for my job, I must be opening and closing files constantly. Taking up to a full minute or more to scan a file before even thinking about opening it is becoming beyond just "inconvenient".

In the Norton control panel, "Auto-Protect" is turned on. When I click on the link to find out more information about what that is, I'm told one of the features is:

"Keeps your system safe at all times by checking for viruses every time that you use software programs on your computer, insert floppy disks or other removable media, and modify or access documents"

Is this even necessary? I was raised as a Mac user, and on my Mac, I wouldn't hesitate about turning this "feature" off. However, since I'm on a windows machine, I am hesitant to turn anything off. Is this level of protection really necessary?

Some of the automatic programme updates seem to download ever increasing large files. I was just wondering what happens to files that the programme had downloaded on the last update. Do they automatically get erased if no longer in use?

ok ive just noticed that on Sage computer programme when you go into Customer enquiry and then look along the subheadings..'Contact, General, Staionary, Terms' etc certain letters are underlined like in 'contact' the 'n' is underlined?
